The design on the handle depicts scenes from the time of the Vikings in 1030 A.D. This serving spoon comes in a nice gift box that makes it great for gift giving and also for storage.
- Pewter takes kindly to contact with all kinds of food, and it is non-toxic. Hand-washing is recommended but this flatware can be machine washed. Machine washing with certain types of detergents tends to darken pewter. Pewter can be polished with fine steel wool moistened in luke warm, soapy water. Handles should be polished lengthwise.
