Lamson & Goodnow 5" Kullenschliff Santoku Knife with Rosewood Handles - The Santoku knife is the Japanese equivalent to the Chef's knife. The Santoku has a wide blade like a traditional chef's knife, but the tip is lower than that of a chef's knife. The wide flat blade is great for cutting, crushing garlic and spices, and also for transferring foods to the pan. This knife works great for meat and vegetables alike.
The blade is made from the highest quality stainless steel from Solingen, Germany and has hollows (Kullebschliff) positioned on each side for reduced friction. The handles are made of natural Rosewood with a mineral oil finish that makes this knife both beautiful and durable. Three brass rivets hold the handles to the full tang blade.
